Master your Anxiety in an instant

3 Areas to help with your daily anxiety.

There are 3 areas you need to change:

First area- Physiology

Firstly notice what your body is doing! 

How are your shoulders? Your chest? Are you looking up? shoulders back? Chest to the sky? Is your breathing slow or fast? How can you radically shift your physiology? Can you jump? Make a weird noise? Release any tension in your body (jaw, shoulders).

Put your hand on your heart and say thank you to your body for all the hard work it does and be grateful.

Second area- Focus

Are you focusing on what you want?

Or what you don’t want?

Our brain always finds an answer to the questions we are asking. Therefore ask quality questions and you’ll get quality answers.

Here are some great questions to ask yourself about the situation that is making you anxious.

  • What is great about this problem?

  • What is not yet perfect?

  • What am i willing to do to make it the way I want it?

  • What am i not willing to do to in order to make it the way I want?

  • How can I enjoy the process while I do what is necessary to make it the way I want it?

Third area- Words

How can you change the words you’re using? 

For example… if you’re saying to yourself your ‘stressed’, change the word to ‘i’m busy’ or ‘energised’.

Here are some examples:

Stupid = Learning

Rejected = Misunderstood Overwhelmed= many opportunities/in demand

Scared = Excited

Failure = Learning

Fearful = Curious
